Dear Grandma Dawn,

I don't get to see Daddy very much on Mondays and Wednesdays because he has class and gets home late. So today Momma and I took him lunch at the office so we could spend some time together. My tummy was kind of hurting and I was a little fussy but as soon as Daddy picked me up and put me on his shoulder I felt much better and even took a little nap. I sure love that guy. You did a good job with him.

Dear Grandma Dawn,

I went to my first doctor's visit today with Dr. Miles. My mommy really likes her because she believes in holistic medicine and doing things very natural when possible. I gained 6 oz. since I came home from the hospital three days ago! There is no longer any concern about jaundice (although I will still look yellow for a few more weeks) and everything looks great! Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how today went! I love you a lot!

Dear Grandma Dawn,

So I was up in the middle of the night nursing (it's hard to sleep on an empty stomach, you know) when I came up with a brilliant idea. I'm really sad that you can't be with me all of the time to watch me learn and grow so I thought that the next best thing would be to create a blog just for you where I can share what I am learning, what I have been doing, what cute outfits I am wearing, and pictures and videos my mommy and daddy take of me. (Since the moment I came out, they haven't stopped taking them so there will be plenty to share!) I hope this blog helps you feel a little bit closer to me. Even though we haven't yet met, I sure do love you and can't wait for you to hold me. And I met Grandpa Scott before I was born and he's wonderful so I know you are, too. I love you so much!
