Dear Grandma Dawn,

My mommy says that I am so cute that she could just eat me up. Should I be worried?

Here I am, loungin' in my swing. All I need is a remote control and a beer.

Dear Grandma Dawn,

My mommy said that she doesn't understand me and that I'm a nutty baby. She had me in a sling strapped to her chest and I was sleeping with a pacifier in my mouth. She was cooking and turned the mixer on and I didn't flinch. However, when I was sleeping on Mommy and Daddy's bed, Daddy walked by and his knee popped and I startled and jerked like someone lit a firecracker by my ear. Funny, huh? I don't know why I'm like that. I don't understand myself either. But I think it may have something to do with being snuggled close to someone I love as opposed to being all alone on a big bed; I think it's called security. Whatever the reason, I keep Mommy and Daddy entertained.

Dear Grandma Dawn,

I had my six-week pictures taken this week and they turned out pretty darn cute, if I do say so myself. I have copies to give to you when you come visit. Here's a picture of the whole family that we took the same day.

Dear Grandma Dawn,

Daddy said that he talked to you today about your trip to come see us and to meet me. I can't wait! Will you hold me and sing to me and tell me some stories about Daddy when he was little and about Grandpa Scott? I'd love to hear the elf story you wrote, too. We'll have a great time in Savannah and at the beach and just hanging out at home. Only a few more weeks!

Love,
McKay

Dear Grandma Dawn,

I sent you something in the mail. Keep an eye out for it!

Love,
McKay

Dear Grandma Dawn,

Look how chubby my hands are getting!

Dear Grandma Dawn,

Some people carry their weight in their stomach, some in their thighs, and some in their backsides.

I carry my weight in my neck.

Such is life.
